Reflective Dog Collar

We understand that people who work near the roads at night would require a reflective vest. The purpose is to make themselves more visible to the drivers when the area is dark.

With this reasoning, there is a need for dogs to get a reflective dog collars.

You see, some owners do bring their dogs out for a walk in the night and if they are not wearing any reflective collars, it may not make their dogs visible in the night, especially if the dog is black in color.

The purpose of having a reflective collar is to help make the dogs more visible in the dark. A number of sniffer dogs wear reflective collars when they are searching for survivors in a collapsed building.

Reflective dog collars are good alternative to reflective dog clothes as clothes may not look nice if they are reflective.

There are many different types of dog collars. They can range from:

• Reflector Band - Similar to the reflective arm band that the youths are using
• Glow in the Dark - Glows when it absorbs enough light
• LED Lights - Emits lights but requires batteries
• Padded Reflective - Normal reflective materials

Some of the collars also comes with a reflective leash but I feel that this is overdone. I don't feel comfortable with that but if you are, you can try it out.
